More new features were released today! Social media has really made its mark in the online world and news is shared quicker than ever.
MRM has now integrated Twitter in the "museum details"-page for fast news delivery from the museum to MRM visitors.
In addition we've added quick-pick icons for easy link sharing through social media. Let your friends or the world know what you like!

New feature released! Google Maps now fully integrated

Today a new feature was released on MRM! The museums' location marked on a Google Map is now displayed right under the museum details box.
The map is fully functional and allows you to zoom, drag and obtain directions, easy as pie!
International directions are supported too even as public transport schedules within some countries.
And if available for the specified address, Google Streetview can be used as well.
Try it yourself, just pick a museum from the database and be sure to let us know what you think!
MRM redesigned

A year of bèta testing has passed and we are proud to release a fully redesigned MRM to the public!
All of the old features are still present and we are about to release new onces as the year progresses.
Let us know what you think, we welcome user feedback as it is of utmost value to us.
In case you have visited a model railroad museum listed in our database, please submit us a review in the forums. We are looking forward to your contributions!
At the moment not every museum in the MRM database has got a proper description yet. If you are related to a certain museum, please help us to improve.

After nearly a year of design, buiding, testing, re-building and refining Modelrailroadmuseums.com hits the world wide web on October 9th.
Founded by Felix, a dedicated model railroader and webdesigner from The Netherlands, MRM aims at providing a complete and top quality overview on European model railroad museums.
"The lack of overview out on the internet regarding model railroad museums in Europe got me thinking of the benefits having all museums listed in one big public accessible database", Felix says.
"It was like an opportunity to me and after a bit of research, thinking and experimenting I figured that building a website like this could fill the gap.
MRM should eventually become a central place for finding, rating and reviewing museums by an active community of (model) railroad enthusiasts."
